We are currently looking to hire a Protection Agent or Security Driver to join our team embedded with our client in South Beach, Miami, Florida! This position requires significant travel, along with working onsite at our client's Headquarters in South Beach, Miami, Florida.
*This role will largely operate based on the operational needs of the client. Work hours will be Wednesday through Sunday, with some evening work to accommodate client schedule and travel requirements.
This is an hourly paid position but has an estimated annual earnings of $141K-$170K depending on hours worked.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Protective Agent/Secure Driver will serve as the primary security driver and protection coordinator for the client and their guests throughout the Miami, FL area and beyond. This embedded role is central to the safety and seamless movement of company executives, requiring a blend of tactical awareness, professionalism, and discretion. The agent will work directly with clients, guests, security teams, internal teams, external stakeholders, and key business partners to deliver best-in-class driving and protective services. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation of experience, thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and is excited about the opportunity to grow with the program and organization as they continue to develop.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage protective support for the principal and/or designated company executives
  • Provide operational and programmatic support to the principal and staff during travel
  • Coordinate efforts to prevent and address security breaches, including:
  • Maintain excellent rapport and open lines of communication regarding client needs, requests for support, service issues, and deliverables
  • Provide a "white-glove" driving service as the personal driver for the client and guests
  • Safeguards the Principal and guests from all forms of security and safety hazards, ensuring the safety and security of passengers during transit
  • Coordinates logistics and plans all details relating to the Principal's or guest's physical location, including movements in, out, and around the site, while preparing for emergencies and other contingencies
  • Operates vehicle in a safe and comfortable manner
  • Develop and execute operation plans, route planning, and advance work, preparing routes in advance, including alternate routes
  • Conducts vehicle checks for cleanliness, functionality, and fuel level
  • Identifies threats and intervenes along the route when appropriate
  • Renders aid in the event of illness, accident, or other safety hazards
  • Work with home office staff and security teams to ensure a coordinated pick-up/drop-off routine
  • Provide residential security support as needed, including exterior patrols, property checks, door and access verification, and vendor/visitor check-ins to ensure overall site safety and security.
  • Identify, track, log, and coordinate vehicle maintenance requirements
  • Proactively communicate with the client regarding identified delays or other route issues
  • Understand, conform with, and abide by all Local, State, and Federal laws/regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.
  • 5+ years of equivalent or relevant industry experience
  • Will require the ability to work as an armed security guard in the state of Florida
  • Ability to obtain a firearm permit for concealed carry and carry a firearm in the state of Florida
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Operational experience driving high-profile executives or high-net-worth passengers
  • Current Driver's License with a flawless driving record
  • Thorough understanding of local and federal laws and regulations related to personal driver services
  • Well-versed in driving in and around the Greater Miami, FL area
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Operational experience with executive protection details, and/or high-profile corporate security teams
  • Emotional intelligence and a customer-focused approach
  • A successful track record operating within a high-touch, customer service environment
  • Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful driving conditions
  • High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information, excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort working with senior leadership
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including Google Suite and MS Office applications
  • Skilled in synthesizing facts, concepts, and principles
  • This position requires up to 50% travel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience providing executive driving service for individuals with mobility issues
  • Defensive Driving and/or EVOC certifications
  • Advanced medical training (EMT, WEMT, WFR, TCCC/TECC)
  • Executive Protection and/or Tactical training preferred
