Job description

Biospan is hiring a Private Chef to join our BioCheffing service - a full-service, nutrition-led culinary experience for busy professionals. You'll cook in a client's home in Birmingham, preparing one main meal per day (six days per week) across two cook days per week. The focus is on clean, organic ingredients, consistency, and variety, supporting the client with a busy and variable work schedule.

The Role

  • Plan and prepare high-quality, halal-friendly meals following Biospan's clean nutrition framework.

  • Shop for ingredients (organic, pasture-raised, wild-caught) and manage receipts and budgets.

  • Portion and store meals in glass containers for freshness and convenience.

  • Coordinate with our nutritionist team for variety and dietary alignment.

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional chef experience (private household experience preferred).

  • Strong understanding of healthy, whole-food cooking.

  • Familiarity with halal ingredients and cultural food handling standards.

  • Reliable, discreet, and highly organised.

  • Valid DBS, driving licence, and food hygiene certification.

Schedule: 

  • 2 in-home cook days per week (flexible days).

  • Approx. 6 days' worth of meals per week for one client.
