Job description

A client located on the Upper East Side of New York City is seeking a full-time, live-in housekeeper to start ASAP. The client is also open to considering a live-in Domestic Couple if the right match is found. Private housing will be provided for the couple, and a private bedroom/bathroom will be provided for the Housekeeper in the principal's home. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm with flexibility to change days/times when needed.

The ideal candidate is an experienced, polished, and professional live-in housekeeper with a strong background in formal homes. This role is heavily focused on meticulous housekeeping, laundry, ironing, household organization, light cooking, and maintaining the residence to the highest standards. The client is open to relocating the right candidate.


  • Overall cleaning and upkeep of the 2,800 sq. ft. apartment
  • Daily housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining all living spaces
  • Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
  • Grocery shopping and household errands
  • Deep cleaning of bathrooms
  • Washing, ironing, and changing bed linens
  • Making beds and maintaining the guest room
  • Laundry with careful attention to fabric care and washing instructions
  • Ironing clothing to a high standard
  • Meal preparation and light cooking for lunches and dinners, as well as preparing morning coffee.
  • Maintaining organization of the pantry, closets, and storage areas
  • House management duties including inventory, stocking household supplies, receiving packages, making returns, and coordinating vendors for repairs when needed
  • Driving the principal for errands or appointments as needed
