This position is open to candidates based in any of our office locationsโ€”Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Rosemont (IL), or Denver (CO). This role is ideal for experienced personal lines professionals who are comfortable managing an established book of high-net-worth clients and delivering a highโ€‘touch, proactive client experience. Account Managers on this team act as trusted advisors to their clients, handling renewals, coverage reviews, and ongoing service needs while building strong, longโ€‘term relationships. Essential Job Functions:

  • Proactively manage a private client/highโ€‘netโ€‘worth book of clients while meeting service standards, deadlines, and renewal timelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clientsโ€”answering questions, explaining coverage, analyzing exposures, and recommending appropriate policy adjustments or additional coverages.
  • Manage renewals and policy reviews by evaluating coverage options, negotiating with carriers, and ensuring programs align with clientsโ€™ evolving needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carrier partners, and internal teams to deliver a consistent, highโ€‘quality client experience.
  • Support organic client growth through referrals from existing clients, internal partners, and other approved sources; assist with the marketing and placement of new and renewal business as needed.
  • Coordinate internal resources such as Claims, Legal, Marketing, Technology, and other teams to support clients throughout the full account lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate policy, renewal, and payment records while staying current on personal lines products, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with producers, service teams, and regional offices to ensure alignment on processes, workflows, and client strategies; travel to clients or carrier partners as needed.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and overall client experience while supporting special projects and clientโ€‘specific initiatives.

Credentials:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Two or four-year degree preferred.
  • P&C license required
  • Experience working in personal lines insurance required
  • Private client experience required
  • One year of experience with agency management system or CRM preferred, preferably EPIC.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint functions.
  • Prior customer service experience required.

In compliance with Coloradoโ€™s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) and the Illinois Pay Transparency Law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for this role since it could be performed in Colorado or Illinois.

  • Hiring Range: This position is an Exempt role with a compensation of $65,000-100,000 with monthly bonus opportunities. The pay will vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
