  • Provide visible, hands-on leadership before, during, and after events.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Catering team while setting clear expectations for performance and service.
  • Monitor event revenue, profitability, labor, expenses, and financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities to grow event revenue through thoughtful recommendations and enhancements.
  • Partner across Culinary, Banquets, Beverage, Communications, Facilities, and Clubhouse operations for seamless execution.
  • Stay ahead of hospitality, culinary, beverage, décor, and entertainment trends to continually elevate Cherokee’s private event experience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience managing weddings, large social events, and complex catered functions.
  • Previous leadership experience developing and managing teams.
  • Private club, luxury hotel, or high-end hospitality experience required.
  • Exceptional organization, communication, judgment, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with event budgeting, financial management, and revenue generation preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • NorthStar or Delphi experience is a plus.
