Brewed To Serve Restaurant Group has been a fixture of Atlanta hospitality for nearly 30 years. We are hiring Banquet Captains at each of our three concepts:

Max Lager's Wood-Fired Grill & Brewery — Georgia's oldest brewpub, pairing scratch wood-fired cooking with award-winning beers brewed on site in the heart of downtown Atlanta.

White Oak — A refined Southern kitchen with European influence on Peachtree Street, home to one of downtown's most active private dining and banquet programs.

Bold Monk Brewing Co. — A European-inspired brewery, restaurant, and gathering place on Atlanta's Westside, built around great beer, honest food, and community.

Each Banquet Captain is based at a single restaurant. Let us know in your application if you have a preference, and we will discuss placement during the interview process.

COMPENSATION

$800 to $1,500 per week, with $2,000 to $2,500+ per week on heavy event weeks — which is often.

THE ROLE

We are looking for driven leaders to deliver best-in-class service across our full range of private events — weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, full buyouts, rehearsal dinners, receptions, meetings, social gatherings, and many more. The Banquet Captain is staffed on all of their restaurant's events and is responsible for training and leading its events service team.

In addition to events, the Banquet Captain works regular serving or bartending shifts and is expected to be a leader on the floor in and out of events — setting the standard for service every shift, not just on event days.

This is a hands-on leadership role that extends beyond the floor. You will own the guest experience from setup through breakdown, close out each event and ensure it is reflected correctly in Toast, and work directly with management on execution and follow-through. Following our established systems and procedures is a must — we have built processes that work, and we need leaders who run them consistently.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead front-of-house service execution for weddings, corporate functions, holiday parties, buyouts, and a wide variety of other events
• Train, coach, and direct event servers and support staff before and during events
• Run pre-shift meetings, assign stations, and manage service timelines in coordination with the kitchen and event sales team
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and planners during events
• Oversee room setup, execution, and breakdown to spec
• Close out each event, ensuring accurate entry and reconciliation in Toast
• Work regular serving or bartending shifts and lead by example on the floor every shift
• Work directly with management on event execution, reporting, and follow-up
• Follow established company systems and procedures consistently and hold the team to the same standard
• Uphold service, safety, and quality standards at all times

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience leading banquet or event service in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or catering operation
• Strong serving and/or bartending skills and a leader's presence on the floor in daily service
• A systems-oriented leader who executes established procedures with consistency and attention to detail
• Comfortable with POS close-out and event reconciliation; Toast experience strongly preferred
• A natural leader who trains by example and holds a team to a high standard
• Calm, organized, and decisive under pressure
• Strong client-facing communication and professional presence
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
