Job description


Senior Fund Accountant
Livingston, NJ (Hybrid, three days onsite per week)
Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm
Some of the things you will be doing:
We are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will manage multiple client deliverables ensuring superior client service. Deliverables include fund administration services provided to private equity funds such as:
  • Prepare and/or review financial statements and support schedules (GAAP and other basis)
  • Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and prepare and distribute letters
  • Prepare Investor allocations and Partner Capital Statements
  • Prepare and/or review a Waterfall
  • Investor and compliance reporting
  • Daily client interaction
  • Matrix reporting structure for client services
  • Internal responsibilities (status reports, time tracking, etc.)
  • Review processes and make recommendations on how they can become more efficient

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required (CPA preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in private equity, partnership, or fund accounting
  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and leading service delivery teams
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and private fund structures
  • Experience with SBA-regulated funds preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and executive-level communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, financial modeling techniques, and data analysis tools

At CSC, compensation decisions are dependent on a number of factors including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000 to $92,000.
