Job description

The Manager, Global Privacy Compliance, is responsible for supporting the effective operation of Manulife enterprise privacy compliance management program, including oversight of Manulife's second line of defence privacy monitoring program.They will also support the integration and continuous improvement of the privacy program with related second line oversight functions and support the successful development, implementation and maintenance of our global privacy framework and target operating model.
Responsibilities:
Supports the development and implementation of enterprise privacy policies, standards, and workflows
Leads and supports program-related projects and change-related activities

Assists senior level team members with tasks and assignments as needed
Functions as an enterprise privacy program SME
Represents Global Privacy on global projects and initiatives
Coordinates and performs analysis on complex concepts that may require in-depth research and interpretation and provide sustainable solutions
Collaborates with all areas of the organization to ensure efficient implementation and maintenance of the enterprise privacy program and operating model
Oversee enterprise privacy control monitoring and related reporting
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of related compliance or management experience.
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong technology skills
Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services industry with an advanced understanding of the Company's businesses.
Advanced understanding of the regulatory environment in which the Company operates and a s strong understanding of key privacy regulations

Salary range is expected to be between

$85,300.00 CAD - $135,300.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
