Schedule:
Team member will work 6am-3:00pm between the Apple Hill Campus and our Central Warehouse (2500 S. George Street, York, PA 17403)
General Summary
Performs a variety of tasks to support the system-wide mission of Logistics and Distribution including, but not limited to, issuing supplies, maintaining inventories and compiling stock records, receiving, preparing items for shipment and/or return to vendor, etc. Performs data entry into various systems. Investigates and reconciles data issues to ensure reporting and accounting accuracy.

Essential Functions:
  • Performs a variety of tasks to support the system-wide mission of Logistics and Distribution including, but not limited to, issuing supplies, maintaining inventories and compiling stock records, receiving, preparing items for shipment and/or return to vendor, etc. Complies with US Postal Service Regulations.
  • Performs data entry into various systems.
  • Ensures data entry is done in a timely, accurate and consistent fashion, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Investigates and reconciles data issues to ensure reporting and accounting accuracy.
  • Tracks-Expedites-Statuses shortages/backorders for inventory items. Ensures standard operating procedures are followed in connection with purchases of materials. Maintains computerized purchase order files and related records of current suppliers, materials and delivery.
  • Compares computer balances with periodic sampling checks of physical inventory. Researches and reconciles discrepancies.
  • Participates in evaluation of acceptable substitutions.
  • Works with managers, supervisors, technicians, supply distributors, freight aggregators, linen providers and equipment vendors.
  • May work directly with clinical customers and/or Procurement & Contracting.
  • Responds to requests for information from Finance for invoice approval, in regards to shipping quantities and product differences. Works with vendors for resolution.
  • Process returns. Prepares bill of lading. Packs and ships via electronic manifest.
  • May communicate directly with vendors.

  • Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.
  • Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
