Mon-Fri with Imaging Leadership on-call responsibilities

General Summary

Supervises personnel and assists in managing the Imaging Department daily operations. Provides imaging services. Performs duties as on call team leader and is able to train new staff.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates, for effectiveness, all services rendered and makes recommendations regarding addition and deletion of service.

  • Develops and oversees departmental policies, philosophy, plan, goals and objectives.

  • Maintains drug control for department, in conjunction with Pharmaceutical Services.

  • Provides in service education for technologist and participates in instruction

Required for All Jobs:

  • Performs other related duties as identified.

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

Work Experience:

  • 5 years Relevant experience. Required and

  • Supervisory experience. Required

Licenses:

  • Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography - ARRT Upon Hire Required and

  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in computer tomography procedures. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.

  • Computer skills.
