Position Overview

The mission of the Informed Design Team at Autodesk is to help companies embrace Industrialized Construction through convergence of AEC and MFG. As a Product Manager on the Informed Design team, you'll make it possible for our manufacturing customers to collaborate with building design customers and establish design guardrails for building products. You will help our customers design buildings with certainty to deliver faster, with higher quality and reduced waste.

We are looking for someone who can lead complex, cross-product initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration (0 to 1). This role requires strong systems thinking, comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces, and the ability to drive solutions across multiple Autodesk products and stakeholder groups.

As a Product Manager, you'll play an important part driving the product forward - collaborating with engineering, design, and other business stakeholders to discover effective solutions, and deliver those solutions to market.

This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Director of Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with other Product Managers on the team, develop a clear product vision by formulating hypotheses to meet business objectives for the Autodesk's Industrialized Construction platform that spans multiple Autodesk products and services

  • Contribute to and execute on product strategy, translating it intoa prioritizedroadmap

  • Advocate for your product vision across the organization, effectively communicating with technical teams and executive-level leadership

  • Contribute to the product team a solid knowledge of business constraints, including from marketing, customer adoption, sales, service, legal, privacy and trust

  • Contribute to the product team a deep knowledge of our users and customers, and data about how our customers engage with software platforms

  • Incorporate customer needs, business objectives, UX insights, usability studies, customer feedback, research, and market analysis into the product strategy, roadmap, and requirements

  • Define and monitor key metrics to facilitate data-driven decision-making both pre- and post-launch, ensuring anticipated outcomes and impact are achieved

  • Collaborate with scrum teams to ensure successful execution of product requirements

  • Manage feature release planning and align engineering, quality, program management, and customer-adoption teams - this includes getting data-sets, sample content and help documentation created

  • Champion the product in various trade-shows and present feature-set and future roadmap plans in webinars to future customers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading 01 for major software platform initiatives from research through launch and iteration

  • Systems thinking across interconnected software products

  • Domain fluency in AEC/BIM workflows

  • Demonstrated success operating in Agile/lean engineering environments

  • Experience with tools for project management such as Jira, Confluence

  • Good communication skills across technical teams and executive stakeholders

  • Comfort driving change in complex, traditional industries

  • Ability to structure ambiguous problem spaces and form clear product hypotheses

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Industrialized Construction experience at the intersection of AEC and Manufacturing

  • Background in PLM, CPQ, MES, or manufacturing systems

  • Prior experience within the Autodesk products (Revit, Inventor, Fusion, Forma), ecosystem or adjacent platforms

  • Experience with enterprise SaaS metrics and analytics

  • Familiarity with configuration systems, rule engines, parametric modeling, or design automation

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $104,000 and $151,800. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
