Job description

Primary Function of the Position

Support critical Design and Manufacturing Engineering initiatives through data-driven

insights, cross-functional coordination, and advanced analytics. Drive innovation and risk

mitigation by collaborating across Engineering, Product Quality, IT, Finance, and other

stakeholders. Lead development of dashboards and analytics solutions leveraging

manufacturing and design engineering data to enable informed decision-making.

 

Essential Job Duties

• Analyze complex manufacturing and engineering data to identify trends and

actionable insights.

• Lead cross-functional data engineering needs, reports, and analytics on NPI/NPD

project portfolios and KPIs.

• Present goals, metrics, and action plans to stakeholders.

• Develop tools and processes to assess and manage engineering data, including BOM

cost, equipment obsolescence, and risk trends.

• Deliver data-driven insights and KPI reporting.

• Design and maintain scalable dashboards and reports for engineering and business

stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate

business needs into technical solutions.

• Champion best practices in data governance and analytics development.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8–14 years of relevant industry experience with BI tools (Tableau, Lighthouse,

Power BI, Snowflake).

• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in SQL and data engineering concepts, including query optimization and

Snowflake data structures.

• Ability to model engineering, product quality, and risk data.

• Familiarity with manufacturing data and test equipment systems; ability to design

dashboards visualizing performance metrics and trends.

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

• Project management and data analytics expertise.

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Exposure to open-source BI platforms (e.g., Superset) and cloud-based data

environments.

• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
