Automotive Biller / Title Clerk – Empire Metro Locations

Empire Automotive Group’s Empire Metro locations are seeking a detail‑driven Automotive Biller / Title Clerk to join our growing team. If you’re ready to elevate your career with one of the region’s most dynamic automotive groups, this role offers a strong opportunity to advance within a professional dealership environment.

Overview:

We’re looking for a proactive individual who communicates clearly, thrives in a fast‑paced setting, and takes pride in delivering accurate, high‑quality work.

Resposibilities:

  • Process billing for new and used deliveries, wholesales, and dealer trades, including all DMV‑related work.
  • Maintain temporary tag logs and manage plates, in‑transit permits, and related inventory.
  • Track and maintain all outstanding title work.
  • Verify and manage out‑of‑state title processes.
  • Break down vehicle deals/payoffs and enter all required information into the DMS.
  • Report rebates as required.
  • Maintain the police book in Verify, ensuring all inventory records remain current.
  • Provide administrative support to management and assist other departments as needed.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven accuracy in handling titles, registrations, lienholder documents, and compliance‑sensitive paperwork.
  • Ability to interpret and apply DMV regulations, manufacturer requirements, and state‑specific title rules.
  • Experience reviewing deal jackets for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before final submission.
  • Strong follow‑up skills to resolve outstanding title work, corrections, missing documents, and payoff discrepancies.
  • Comfort working with manufacturer portals for reporting, rebate submission, and title status verification (preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize time‑sensitive DMV tasks without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • A reliable, enthusiastic, team‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
