Job description

Position Title: Microsoft AI Solution Architect – Healthcare
Location: REMOTE
Duration: Long Term

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Microsoft AI Solution Architect to lead our AI-first healthcare transformation efforts. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will serve as an AI expert by designing, architecting, building and demonstrating Agentic AI solutions, utilizing M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry and GitHub Copilot to modernize healthcare workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
Presales & Deal Support:
  • Lead end-to-end technical presales for Microsoft AI and Copilot opportunities from discovery through solutioning, demos, PoCs, and deal support.
  • Partner with sales leaders to shape deal strategy, define scope, estimate effort, and support RFP/RFI responses and executive presentations.
  • Act as primary AI Solution Architect and SME throughout the presales lifecycle and help with deal transition to project delivery execution.

Solution Architecture & Demo assets:
  • Design secure, scalable Agentic AI architectures using Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot extensibility, Power Platform, and Azure AI Foundry.
  • Build hands-on demo solutions, PoCs, and solution accelerators showcasing real-world healthcare use cases (care management, prior auth, call center workflows).
  • Develop role-based copilots and AI agents that integrate with Microsoft 365, Dynamics, Power Platform, and healthcare systems via APIs.

Healthcare-Focused AI Innovation:
  • Translate payer and provider workflows (claims, utilization management, care coordination, member engagement) into AI-driven solutions.
  • Ensure solutions align with HIPAA, security, compliance, and enterprise governance expectations in healthcare environments.

Capability Building & Thought Leadership:
  • Create reusable assets: demo environments, reference architectures, pitch decks, accelerators, and whitepapers.
  • Mentor junior architects and contribute to building Genzeon’s AI community.
  • Stay current with Microsoft’s roadmap updates in Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Agent 365, Power Platform, and proactively advise clients for faster adoption.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Microsoft solution architecture and presales roles within consulting or systems integration organizations
  • Hands-on experience building demos and accelerators using: Azure AI, GitHub Copilot & Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Copilot extensibility and Power Platform
  • Proven experience architecting Agentic AI solutions, conversational AI, and intelligent workflows leveraging AI/ML integration using Azure AI Services, OpenAI APIs, or Copilot Studio.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud architecture, including API & integration design, Microservices & event-driven architecture, CI/CD using Azure DevOps, Containerization and cloud-native patterns
  • Exceptional solutioning, demo delivery, and executive presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct line reporting in a matrixed organization

Preferred Experience:
  • Direct experience delivering AI solutions for healthcare or life sciences clients.
  • Experience with agent orchestration, AI workflows, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure AI/ML.
  • Microsoft certifications: Microsoft Copilot Specialist, Power Platform Solution Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Dynamics 365 Solution Architect
  • Healthcare and enterprise certifications (nice to have): CHPS, CAHIMS, TOGAF or enterprise architecture frameworks

Strong understanding of healthcare operations: Claims, prior authorization, care management, Provider workflows, call centers, member services.
