Job Description: ThickFilm Printing Operator
Location: San Jose, CA
Reports To: ThickFilm upervisor
Summary:
The Thick Film Printing Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining screen printing equipment to apply conductive, resistive, and dielectric inks onto ceramic or substrate materials according to engineering specifications and quality standards
The Thick Film Printing Operator will be part of a team of and perform various electronics Manufacturing processes in a cleanroom environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate thick film screen printing machines.
  • Print conductive, resistive, and dielectric patterns per work instructions.
  • Perform screen alignment and registration adjustments.
  • Inspect printed substrates for defects such as smears, misalignment, voids, or cracks.
  • Monitor print thickness and ensure uniform ink deposition.
  • Clean screens, squeegees, and equipment after production runs.
  • Follow ESD, safety, and cleanroom procedures.
  • Record production data and complete required documentation.
  • Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve print issues.
  • Assist with verifying parts in kit box, labeling, and combine LT in Expandables.
  • Comply with safety regulations, ESD regulations, and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Other duties requested by the Supervisor or Manager.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in thick film, screen printing, or electronics manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and process sheets.
  • Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Independent worker, detailed oriented, and self-motivated.
  • handling multiple priorities and multi-tasking
Job Qualifications:
  • Experienced with MS Excel
  • Due to export control rules, must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
