Labelsmith is an established label manufacturer located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, known for abundant outdoor recreation. We pride ourselves on producing quality labels in an efficient working environment. We are looking for a seasoned Flexographic Press Operator who takes pride in their craft to join our team. If you are looking for a stable shop where your expertise is respected, let’s talk.

What We Offer

  • Shift/Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift

  • Our Equipment: You’ll be running Mark Andy and Nilpeter narrow-web presses.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Press Operator, you will independently manage the production process from setup to final product:

  • Complete efficient, independent setups of plates, dies, inks, and coatings.
  • Monitor print quality consistently, making on-the-fly adjustments for registration and color matching.
  • Manage ink mixing, color matching, and substrate loading.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Hands-on Flexographic printing experience (Preferred), press operatio experience is Required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of four-color process printing, web tension, and die-cutting.
  • Attributes: Excellent color vision and attention to detail.
  • Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a production environment.
