Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure correct stock and inks.
  • Make quality related decisions utilizing product specification testing.
  • Mix ink and take the viscosities to maintain required colors.
  • Prepare the press for the succeeding press run by performing line clearance procedures.
  • Perform and document all the necessary testing of both raw materials and finished products using established company test methods.
  • Perform entries into the computer system for raw materials.
  • Perform all necessary preventative maintenance as required.
  • Provide necessary communication at shift change.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous Flexo printing experience preferred.
  • Web handling fundamentals.
  • Must be able to read standard ruler measurements.
  • Beginner level computer skills.
  • English language verbal and written communication skills.
  • High school math skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently with team members.
  • Proficient at color matching.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to operate tools and equipment
  • Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds
  • Vision requirements include close vision, color recognition, and focus adjustment
