Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

JOB SUMMARY

Performs a variety of entry level and semi-skilled Winding and Repair Operations. Reads and interprets Model Folders, Online technical System (OTIS) and Standard Manual Instructions (SMI). Must be able to read and understand blueprints and have working knowledge of Shop Orders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Read and understand Blue prints, OTIS, and SMI. Identify motor components required for operation.

Use a variety of hand and power tools to setup and operate equipment. Make adjustments as necessary.

Must have a high degree of hand - eye coordination and dexterity to perform required repetitive operations.

Maintain production and quality standards and identify equipment and product malfunctions.

Setup and operate equipment at required tolerances.

Operate a variety of Powered Equipment safely at standard production rates.

Inspect work and recognize conformance to Quality and Engineering specifications. Report issues and non-conformances to Department Lead or Supervisor.

Use a computer to access required online information.

Follows all safety rules and procedures.

Keep work area and equipment in a clean, safe and orderly manner.

Performs other duties as assigned, including training of other employees.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - COMPOSITE OF ALL JOBS

Lift a minimum of 10 lbs. Frequently; 25 lbs. occasionally; 50 lbs. rarely

Carry 10 lbs. - 25 lbs. Occasionally; 50 lbs. rarely

Bend, and lift twist at knees frequently. Bend and twist at back occasionally.

Frequent grasping with fingers and use of hands. Frequent Pinch grip required.

Frequent use of and reaching with arms.

Frequent upward and downward gaze of neck.

Occasional walking and sitting. Frequent standing.

Occasional push / pull at waist level - (minimum friction)

Frequent repetitive work

Wears safety glasses and other PPE as required.

EXPERIENCE

Read and understand blue prints.

Use computer and basic software.

Experience using hand and power tools referred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Temperature controlled (air conditioned) manufacturing environment.

Manufacturing setting with various pieces of moving equipment.

Work assignment includes periodic rotation through a variety of jobs including but not limited to: Press and Lace, Pre-connect, Connect, Bullet, Taping, Various Automated Winders, Inserter, Stack & Insulate, Stator Testing, and Stator Oven.
