Field Equipment Installer - Commercial Kitchen:
The Boelter Companies, a supplier of commercial kitchen equipment, is seeking to fill a full time Field Installation Technician position supporting a national restaurant chain. Position is based in Glendale, WI however does require travel.

Job Summary:
Duties shall include coordinating and installing foodservice equipment, stainless steel fabrication and millwork dining room furniture nationwide.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for complete installation of foodservice equipment, millwork booths, dining room furniture provided for national restaurant chain.
  • Weekly travel to work on project sites throughout the year based on a varying schedule. Most travel is five days a week. Normal travel week is Sunday thru Thursday evening; home on Friday and Saturday. This will vary at times.
  • Working with 3rd party installation crews on multiple projects when necessary.
  • Provide installation support to Boelter warehouse (equipment) and other projects within Boelter.
  • 40+ hours/week while traveling. Hours will vary when not traveling.

Requirements:
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a variety of tools.
  • Ability to read blue prints / shop drawings.
  • Self-motivated, flexible and professional attitude
  • Experience and / or schooling in construction related industry preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure, in adverse conditions and meet project schedules on time.
  • Works well in team environment and accept responsibility.
  • Previous construction or trade related experience is suggested, however mechanical skills are required.
  • Must be familiar with safety procedures and jobsite etiquette.

Additional Information:
  • Customer specific training for install will be provided
  • Tools and equipment necessary for installation will be provided

Education:
• High School diploma or GED and 1-3 years related experience preferred. Ability to read, write and speak English is a requirement of this position.
Physical Demands:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to walk; sit; climb or balance; scoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and use foot/feet to operate machines. Must be able to lift and/or move 50lbs consistently.
