Print purchasing is the process of sourcing, negotiating, and buying printed materials such as brochures, books, packaging, or promotional items for a company or organization. Print purchasers work with vendors, assess quality and pricing, and manage timelines to ensure print jobs are completed to specifications and delivered on time. This role requires knowledge of printing processes, materials, and market trends to achieve the best value and quality. Print purchasers often collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and production teams.

To thrive in Print Purchasing, you need strong negotiation, vendor management, and print production knowledge, often supported by experience in print or procurement roles. Familiarity with print management software, cost analysis tools, and procurement systems is typically required.
