PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


Assist in data collection for all project schedules

Advise Project Controller/Project Controls Lead of possible schedule delays

Provide regular and as-needed updates to the project management team

Perform regular shop walks to track progress of manufacturing activities

Develop MS Project or Primavera Project Manager skills to assist with the maintenance of project schedule data

Maintain regular communication with shop personnel, project management, and the project controller.

Assist with improvement of data collection methods and procedures 



PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

  • Our office provides common office equipment such as computers, printers, and copiers for staff to use as needed.
  • Routine work and staff interactions within our office environment occur daily.  
  • The ability to withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer is required.  
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include natural or corrected close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Long hours on a keyboard require fine dexterity use of hands/fingers for sustained periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.  
  • Must be able to follow all safety protocols while in our shop area.  



Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • High School Diploma/GED required. Associate's degree in business or other relevant field preferred, but not required.
  • The ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality is required.
  • Previous experience in an ISO 9001 environment is preferred.
  • The ability to remain organized with keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is required.  
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines utilizing excellent time management skills is required.
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, etc. is required.
  • Experience with MS Project, P6 or Primavera Project Manager is preferred, but not required.
