Job description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Commercial Printing Estimator / Project Coordinator – Large Format to support estimating and project execution for wide-format print and related production projects. This is a full-time, onsite position responsible for preparing accurate estimates, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and customers from quote through final delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in large-format printing, signage, displays, packaging, or related production environments, with strong estimating, coordination, and customer communication skills.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely estimates for wide-format and related print projects.
Review project specifications, materials, labor requirements, and production methods to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
Coordinate projects from quotation through production and final delivery.
Manage order entry, scheduling, tracking, and project updates throughout the production cycle.
Communicate timelines, requirements, and project changes with customers, vendors, sales teams, and production staff.
Analyze job requirements and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient execution.
Monitor project costs against estimates and identify any variances or adjustments.
Maintain organized project records and documentation.
Support process improvement initiatives by identifying cost-saving opportunities and refining estimating procedures.
Assist in maintaining workflow efficiency within a fast-paced production environment.
 
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Account Management and/or Customer Service within the commercial large-format printing industry is required.
Candidates without direct experience in the commercial large-format printing industry will not be considered.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, and project profitability evaluation.
Strong project coordination and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Familiarity with construction or building components, including environmental graphics, signage, or installation-related projects, is a plus.
Experience using estimating software, project management tools, spreadsheets, and standard office applications.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a deadline-driven environment.
Previous experience in large-format printing, signage, displays, packaging, or commercial print production strongly preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or education in printing, manufacturing, or project management is a plus.
