Responsibilities

  • Safely dismantle and disconnect computer equipment, servers, and printers.
  • Pack and label equipment meticulously for secure transportation.
  • Unrack and unstack computers, servers, switches, and other hardware as needed.
  • Collaborate with SAS teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Load and unload computer equipment onto/from transportation vehicles.
  • Ensure proper securing of equipment during transit.
  • Monitor and optimize moving performance and reliability.
  • Reassemble and reconnect computer equipment at the new location.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of equipment as directed.
  • Conduct pre and post-move equipment checks to ensure functionality.
  • Promptly report any damages or issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout all stages of the move.
  • Utilize proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent injuries.

Qualification:

  • Previous experience as a moving technician or in a similar role.
