Operations Supervisor (2nd Shift)
The Operations Supervisor will act as the Supervisor for second shift at the Illinois facility. This role will oversee print, mail, bindery, quality control and warehouse operations on-site, and is also responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and overseeing activities of the operations with respect to: personnel, strategic planning, operations, and work as a liaison for Manager support.

What You'll Do
  • Ensure all Print, Mail, Manual Fulfillment, and Warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with InfoSend policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage daily operational activities in collaboration with Management.
  • Establish, implement, and enforce procedures to ensure high-quality production of all print and mail pieces.
  • Schedule production to meet critical deadlines, proactively identify potential delays, and maximize machine uptime and operator productivity.
  • Monitor employee performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and support.
  • Partner with Management to develop and implement staff training programs, with a focus on process improvement and continuous development.
  • Enforce all safety rules and regulations, communicating concerns and areas for improvement to staff and Management.
  • Oversee the distribution and processing of all printed outputs, including medical, billing, and compliance-related notices.
  • Manage all postal activities, including oversight of metering, postal money downloads, and compliance with postal regulations.
  • Perform job sign-offs with 100% accuracy and accountability, documenting and reporting defects or recurring issues for performance improvement.
  • Lead and participate in team meetings to communicate company updates, initiatives, and expectations.
  • Manage and coordinate equipment installations as well as short- and long-term projects.
  • Serve as an escalation point for operators, providing resolution and support for mechanical or material issues.
  • Ensure efficient distribution of work assignments, staging, and job approvals to maximize production flow.
  • Work closely with functional departments and vendors to support operational needs.
  • Oversee inventory management of envelopes, inserts, and other supply requirements for production operations.
  • Ensure compliance with InfoSend's policies, procedures, and standards across all team activities.
  • Promote and uphold fair treatment for all team members, recognizing individual skillsets and experience.
  • Coordinate employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing across all shifts and workloads.
  • Provide cross-training to team members to enhance flexibility and operational coverage.
  • Support team members in developing skills, knowledge, and understanding of InfoSend's processes, procedures, and goals.
  • Document and report incidents of non-compliance, escalating issues to the Director of Operations as needed.
  • Use reports, tools, and performance metrics (in collaboration with the Director of Operations) to evaluate employee performance, productivity, and identify trends or improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • 2-3 years' experience in mail print environment
  • Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to process, comprehend and follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work for self and others
  • Ability to find, analyze, and solve problems
  • Ability to make and implement effective decisions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to frequently lift and move heavy materials (about 30-35 pounds)
  • Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and work independently
  • Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office skills
  • Must be able to pass drug screen, E-Verify, and background check
