A Day in the LifeOur PVH OU is looking for their next Principal Reliability Engineer to support business critical programs within the New Product Development Core team.U.S. Candidates: This role offers a flexible work style that may include a combination of onsite and remote work. Please note that flexible arrangements are not guaranteed for all positions and may change over time based on business needs and facility space. Future adjustments could include transitioning to full-time onsite.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop, coordinate and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (DOE) constructs
  • Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability
  • Complete risk analysis studies of new design and processes
  • Compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics; investigate and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes
  • Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards
  • Analyze preliminary plans and develop reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer and governmental agency reliability objectives
  • May develop mathematical models to identify units, batches or processes posing excessive failure risks
  • As necessary, propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability
  • May determine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing, and specify minimum number of samples to obtain statistically valid data

Nice to Haves:

  • Working knowledge in multiple quality disciplines: Risk Management; Supplier Quality; Change Management; Reliability Engineering; Verification, Validation, and Testing Oversight; and Launch and Post-Market Readiness
  • Experience planning Quality deliverables, timeline, and resource needs
  • Proficient in leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization with the ability to clearly communicate Quality risks, compliance concerns, and impacts to the Core Team Leader
  • Experience managing, leading or mentoring earlier career QCTMs
  • Strong understanding ofdesign controls

Requirements: Requires a Baccalaureate degreeAND minimum of 7 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience OR PhD with 3 years relevant experience

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$132,000.00 - $198,000.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
