The Principal - Delivery is a senior individual contributor who leads 3Ci's largest and most strategically significant multi-discipline programs and holds meaningful responsibility for client advisory relationships, revenue growth, and practice capability development. This role sits at the inflection point between execution excellence and business leadership.
Principals are 3Ci's senior delivery voice on their accounts - advising client VPs and C-suite leaders on program strategy and delivery model design. AI strategy is a core consulting offering at this level: Principals shape how AI is embedded in client delivery organizations and serve as internal thought leaders on AI-augmented program management.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Enterprise Program Leadership
  • Own end-to-end delivery of large, multi-discipline programs spanning multiple 3Ci practices and client organizations
  • Establish enterprise program governance: delivery cadences, executive reporting frameworks, escalation protocols
  • Design program operating models that align client stakeholder structures with 3Ci delivery teams
  • Serve as executive escalation point for all delivery risk, scope conflict, and budget exposure on managed programs
  • Ensure consistent achievement of quality, client satisfaction, margin, and schedule targets
Client Executive Advisory
  • Own and grow trusted advisory relationships with client VPs, Directors, and C-suite stakeholders
  • Advise clients on delivery strategy, PMO design, operating model transformation, and program architecture
  • Lead executive steering committees, program governance forums, and client strategy sessions
  • Identify and develop strategic account expansion opportunities; own multi-year account growth planning
  • Represent 3Ci as a delivery thought leader in client environments and at joint executive forums
AI Strategy in Delivery & Product Management
  • Design and implement AI-forward delivery operating models: AI-assisted planning, predictive risk detection, autonomous status reporting, and intelligent retrospective analysis
  • Lead evaluation and deployment of AI product management platforms: AI-driven roadmapping, automated release planning, intelligent backlog management, and product analytics
  • Advise clients on responsible AI governance, data security, and change management for AI adoption in delivery and product organizations
  • Develop agentic AI use cases for delivery: AI agents for project monitoring, risk alerting, and status synthesis
  • Define how AI capabilities are embedded in 3Ci's delivery governance standards and program frameworks
Practice & Business Development
  • Drive $1.5M-$3M in annual revenue through account ownership, expansion, and pursuit leadership
  • Lead scoping, delivery model design, effort estimation, and SOW development for new and expanding engagements
  • Develop reusable delivery frameworks, governance models, and toolkits that elevate 3Ci's delivery maturity
  • Mentor and develop Senior Consultants through structured feedback, co-delivery, and career guidance
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • 8-12 years of progressive program delivery and consulting leadership
  • Demonstrated leadership of multi-million-dollar, enterprise-scale, multi-discipline programs
  • Proven executive-level client advisory presence and relationship management
  • Strong engagement-level financial acumen and P&L management experience
  • Demonstrated AI strategy advisory capability in delivery or product management contexts
  • Deep expertise in enterprise delivery frameworks: SAFe, PMI PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
Preferred Certifications & Credentials
  • PMP - required
  • PgMP (Program Management Professional) - strongly preferred
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC 5.0 or 6.0)
  • PSPO II or CSPO (product ownership at scale)
  • DASM / DASSM (Disciplined Agile at scale)
  • AI strategy certification: MIT Sloan, Stanford HAI, or equivalent executive program
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement credential
