Job Title:Vice President, Prime Services Applications
Location: 525 Washington Boulevard, Suite 600, Jersey City, NJ 07310
Duties:Present proposals to business and IT stakeholders targeting the technology improvements to the Prime Services platform. Ensure all IT Application Production Support (APS) procedures are followed by teams performing Prime Services Support in Production. Manage and own P1 and P2 incidents and problems. Provide workarounds to reduce the business impact and outage of a critical or major incident. Ensure all support issues are correctly logged in the Bank incident management system. Support the Prime Brokerage business and its clients while working closely with the IT development and IT product management teams. Contribute to and lead projects as required. Onboard applications into the production environment and work with global teams on transformational projects. Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and Point of Contact (POC) for all Prime Services Production related topics across The Americas. Enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Work with internal stakeholders, including Trades, Sales, Research, Business Management, Developers, BAs, and any other team involved in the Prime Services business process. Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders by organizing and participating in meetings, conferences, and informal discussions. Assign the appropriate priority to team projects and activities by considering task complexity, team resources, and time urgency. Remote work permitted 2 days per week.
SALARY :$150,301 to $205,000/ year. Actual salary may vary based on factors such as experience level, location of role, etc. Our benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) Savings Plan, backup childcare, life, accident and disability insurance, mental health support and paid time off. Additional details about our benefits offerings, inclusive of eligibility for a discretionary bonus, will be provided during the hiring process.
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday Friday)
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Electronic and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and five (5) years of experience as a Vice President (Prime Services Applications) or related occupation in IT Application Support within an international bank or international financial services organization OR Master's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Electronic and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and three (3) years of experience as a Vice President (Prime Services Applications) or related occupation in IT Application Support within an international bank or international financial services organization. Demonstrated expertise (DE) with Global Markets Equity Derivative business products and Electronic Markets; (DE) leveraging Python, Java, and Unix Shell scripting languages and monitoring tools (Geneos and Dynatrace); (DE) with Project Management; (DE) with Risk Management (IT Operational Risk Management, Market Risk and Credit Risk); and (DE) with Data Governance.
