Job SummaryThe Leasing Consultant is responsible for assisting prospective and current residents with leasing inquiries, guiding them through the leasing process, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive living experience. This role involves marketing and promoting the apartment community, conducting property tours, handling lease agreements, and maintaining high occupancy rates.
What You'll DoIncluding but not limited to:
- Greet and assist prospective residents, sharing details on available apartments, lease terms, and community amenities
- Lead engaging property tours that showcase model units and available homes
- Market and promote the community to hit and exceed leasing goals
- Guide applicants through the leasing process, from paperwork to move-in day
- Prepare and review lease agreements with clarity and accuracy
- Deliver excellent customer service, resolving resident questions and concerns promptly
- Build lasting resident relationships that drive renewals and referrals
- Keep leasing records and property management software up to date
- Support rent collection, notices, and day-to-day administrative needs
- Create marketing campaigns, including online listings, social media, and resident events
- Network with local businesses to generate new leasing leads
- Partner with property management and maintenance teams to keep the community well-maintained
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
