The Prime Brokerage Sales professional is responsible for driving business development, managing client relationships, and expanding Wedbush's Prime Brokerage platform. This role focuses on sourcing new clients, deepening existing relationships, and partnering across the firm to deliver integrated solutions that support client growth and firm revenue objectives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Source, engage, and onboard prospective Prime Brokerage clients, with a focus on hedge funds, emerging managers, and institutional clients
  • Develop, nurture, and expand relationships with existing clients by delivering high-touch service and identifying opportunities to deepen engagement
  • Drive revenue growth by proactively identifying and executing cross-selling opportunities across research, trading, capital markets, and other firm capabilities
  • Actively promote Wedbush Prime Brokerage within the investment community, enhancing brand visibility and strengthening the firm's reputation
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, including fund administrators, accountants, and other service providers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners, including fund administrators, accountants, attorneys, and other service providers, to generate referral opportunities
  • Oversee day-to-day Prime Brokerage client activity, proactively addressing issues, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring a seamless client experience
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless client experience
  • Develop a differentiated personal sales approach that complements and enhances the firm's broader Prime Brokerage strategy
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned and required

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required; advanced degree a plus
  • FINRA SIE, 7 and 63 licenses required
  • Strong understanding of hedge fund clients and Prime Brokerage services
  • Proven ability to drive business development and revenue growth
  • Established industry network preferred
  • Strong relationship management and client service skills
  • Ability to identify and execute on business development opportunities
