Job description

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful execution of our heavy civil construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of project delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
Your ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage risk, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders will be essential in driving project success. With your leadership and technical expertise, you'll play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of project execution from initiation through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project execution plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including field staff, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Monitor project performance, including cost control, schedule adherence, and quality outcomes
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Review and approve project reports, forecasts, and change management documentation
  • Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams during bid and planning phases
  • Lead project meetings and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement and lessons-learned initiatives across projects
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction project management
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven leadership experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of construction execution strategies and contract management
  • Experience with scheduling tools such as Primavera (P6) or Microsoft Project
  • Advanced knowledge of cost control, forecasting, and risk management practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Excel and project reporting tools
