Flexographic Press Operator – 2nd Shift
Imprimus Labels & Packaging is a well-established leader in the label printing industry. With five plant locations across California, Ohio, and Texas, we produce high-quality labels for the cosmetics, personal care, beverage, food, and dietary supplement markets.

We are currently seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to operate a Mark Andy press on second shift at our Pasadena, Texas facility.

Shift Details

  • Second Shift: Monday through Friday
  • Hours: 3:00 p.m. – 12:00 midnight
  • Shift differential pay included
  • Air-conditioned warehouse

What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will possess:

  • Top-notch flexographic skills on complex jobs
  • A strong “can-do” attitude and commitment to teamwork
  • Careful attention to detail with high-quality expectations
  • Experience running a flexographic color label press
  • Ability to operate with minimal scrap
  • Above-average productivity

Specific Duties

  • Review job tickets and verify stock, inks, and dies are available and used as specified.
  • Set up the press, including installing anilox, inks, correct stock, dies, and plates.
  • Set impressions and register print-to-print and print-to-die
  • Load specified paper stock and inks
  • Adjust the press to the paper size, then feed the material through the press cylinders.
  • Complete all start-up checks and obtain start approval
  • Perform general maintenance on the press
  • Follow 6S guidelines in the assigned work areas and surrounding areas

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience operating a label press in a manufacturing environment

Physical Demands

  • The manufacturing environment requires appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Continuous standing with frequent stooping and kneeling
  • Handling, reaching, and working in and around press equipment
  • Occasional walking and lifting to 50 lbs.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Noise level is typically medium to loud.
  • Ability to work overtime as required by workload and customer-mandated deadlines
