Position Overview
VSSI Staffing is seeking an experienced Press Operator for a full-time opportunity in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for operating small offset printing presses, monitoring print quality, and making necessary machine adjustments to maintain efficient production.
The ideal candidate has previous offset printing experience and is familiar with Duplicator and/or Ryobi presses.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor small offset printing presses.
  • Operate Duplicator and Ryobi printing equipment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure accurate color, alignment, and overall print quality.
  • Monitor production output and meet daily scheduling requirements.
  • Make basic machine adjustments as needed.
  • Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
  • Identify and report equipment or production issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures and production standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:
  • Previous press operator or offset printing experience required.
  • Experience operating Duplicator and/or Ryobi presses preferred.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and follow production instructions.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
