Job description

Mancan is partnering with a company in Winesburg that is seeking a dependable and motivated press operator to join their team. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate.
Training Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:00 PM on 1st shift
Regular Schedule: MondayFriday, 4:00 PMMidnight on 2nd shift. Must be available to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and monitor press machinery to maintain efficient production.
- Load and unload materials and perform other hands-on production tasks as needed.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Make basic machine adjustments and report any equipment issues or concerns.
- Maintain a steady pace in a high-volume production environment while meeting production goals.
- Perform routine quality checks on products and equipment to ensure specifications and standards are met.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or press operator experience is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable, motivated, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
