Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team! NorcaTec is a dynamic and growing company in the Aerospace distribution and spares sales industry, supporting customers in the US and around the world. This role requires excellent project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end customer quote and order management, acting as the main point of contact for customers and vendors.


Title: Project Manager


Reporting to: Vice President, Aerospace Programs


Role:  The Project Manager is responsible for providing total program support through the sales life cycle. The candidate will be required to manage multiple customer projects for a wide range of international aerospace customers. You will be required to use our ERP software and other MS office tools to facilitate the input and output of information, providing real time information to internal and external stakeholders. Core activities include but are not limited to;


Sales Project Management:

·         Answering customer inquiries related to spares support and repair capabilities.

·         Conduct material souring utilizing our proprietary vendor and supply networks, as well as sound sourcing tactics and strategies.

·         Analyzing cost and pricing, offering competitive and best possible solutions to the customer

·         Manage customer orders/delivery schedules, adhering to internal forecasting guidelines and customer deadlines.

·         Coordinate with internal teams (quality, production, logistics) to ensure project milestones are met and customer requirements are fulfilled.

·         Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.


Customer Relationship Management:

·         Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the sales process.

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

·         Conduct regular meetings with customers to provide project updates and gather feedback.


Sales Strategy and Support:

·         Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

·         Prepare sales proposals, contract reviews, and presentations.

·         Identify new business opportunities and work with the sales team to pursue them.


Risk Management:

·         Identify potential quote/order risks and develop mitigation strategies.

·         Monitor and manage project risks to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.


 

Quality Assurance:

·         Ensure that all aerospace products and services meet industry standards and customer specifications.

·         Adhere to all quality control processes while following all relevant QMS (Quality Management System) procedures and work instructions.


Qualifications:

·         Project management experience in aerospace or manufacturing

·         customer order management in aerospace MRO or spares distribution

·         MS office suite proficient, advanced Excel proficiency level desired

·         Focused, motivated and organized individual

·         Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines and work independently

·         Detail oriented with great communications skills
