Schedule: Part-Time | Day Shift
Key Responsibilities
As a Cook, your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing all served food with attention to taste, presentation, and nutritional value
  • Planning food production to align with scheduled meal service times
  • Memorizing, recording, and understanding menu items, plate presentations, and portion sizes
  • Following standard recipes and adhering to special dietary orders
  • Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring compliance with all sanitation, infection control, and food production regulations
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
  • Assisting with inventory control and proper food storage procedures
  • Working collaboratively with dietary staff to provide quality meal service to residents
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare setting preferred
  • Culinary school training preferred
  • COVID-19 vaccination required unless an approved exemption is presented upon hire
