Primary Purpose:
Provide clerical, organizational, and administrative support to the Academy Principal and academy staff. Ensure efficient operation of the academy office while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and positive communication with students, staff, parents, and community stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree or business/office certification preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and office management systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Knowledge of general office procedures and customer service practices
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with student information systems and district software preferred

Experience:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clerical or administrative support experience preferred
  • School district or campus office experience preferred

Major Responsibilities and Duties
Administrative Support
  1. Provide direct administrative and clerical support to the Academy Principal.
  2. Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, and other documents.
  3. Maintain principal's calendar, appointments, and meeting schedules.
  4. Coordinate campus meetings, events, and academy activities.
  5. Screen phone calls, visitors, and inquiries while providing professional customer service.
  6. Maintain accurate office files, records, and documentation.
  7. Assist with preparation and processing of purchase orders, requisitions, and invoices.
  8. Monitor office supply inventory and order materials as needed.

Student and Staff Support
  1. Assist students, parents, and staff with questions, concerns, and campus procedures.
  2. Maintain student records and documentation in accordance with district guidelines.
  3. Support onboarding processes for new staff and assist with substitute coordination as needed.
  4. Assist with attendance records, discipline documentation, and academy communications.
  5. Coordinate academy communication through newsletters, emails, flyers, and announcements.

Operational Support
  1. Support campus compliance with district procedures and timelines.
  2. Assist with organizing testing materials, professional development, and campus events.
  3. Maintain confidentiality regarding personnel, student, and campus matters.
  4. Compile data and reports requested by district administrators and academy leadership.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by the Academy Principal.

  • None

* This position requires on-site, in-person work and does not offer remote work options.
