Description Now Hiring for Preschool Positions. Do you enjoy working with preschool-age children. Are you creative, team-oriented, and passionate about early childhood education.

If so, we'd love to have you join our team. THPRD is hiring for our 9-month Preschool Programs, which provide engaging, play-based learning experiences inspired by the Reggio Emilia theory of education. Programs begin in September 2026 and run through May 2027.

Preschool Programs Jump Start at Cedar Hills Recreation Center is an engaging nine-month, curriculum-based program inspired by the Reggio Emilia theory of education. Fanno Farmers at the Fanno Farmhouse is a comprehensive nine-month preschool program inspired by the Reggio Emilia theory of education. Conestoga Pearls is a comprehensive nine-month introductory preschool program inspired by the Reggio Emilia theory of education for learners.

Bilingual Spanish Preschool at Conestoga Recreation Center utilizes the Reggio Emilia approach to learning in both English and Spanish. Incumbents in this job classification work independently, within established guidelines, to develop, coordinate, supervise, and instruct the day-to-day activities of assigned program areas and provide lead direction to assigned part-time staff and volunteers

Lead teachers will be required to ensure compliance with meal and rest breaks requirements for direct reports. Pay Rate Range: $27.84 - $31.38 hourly The full hourly range for this job classification is $27.84 - $31.38. Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September

Preschool Co-Teacher: Preschool Co-teachers are responsible for preparing, instructing, assisting in planning, and leading activities for program participants. Staff should be prepared to work indoors and outdoors on uneven surfaces, in various environmental conditions each week. Pay Rate Range: $21.81 hourly The full hourly range for this job classification is $21.81 - $24.59

Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September. Preschool Assistant: Preschool Assistants assist with preparing, instructing, and leading activities for program participants. Assistants could also work in the childcare room.

Staff should be prepared to work indoors and outdoors on uneven surfaces, in various environmental conditions each week. Pay Rate Range: $18.84 - $20.02 hourly The full hourly range for this job classification is $18.84 - $21.24. Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September

Schedule & Position Information We are hiring for part-time, year-round positions scheduled 8-29 hours per week, beginning in September 2026 and continuing through May 2027. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., depending on program needs
