The Consultant Database Manager is responsible for managing the firm's presence across third-party databases and platforms utilized by institutional investors and consultants. This role will ensure accurate, timely, and compelling representation of our institutional investment capabilities. This role plays a critical part in supporting institutional sales efforts by maintaining high-quality data, responding to consultant inquiries, coordinating across internal stakeholders, and enabling broader visibility and accessibility of our capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Database & Content Management
  • Maintain and update all consultant and industry databases (e.g., eVestment, Preqin, etc.) with qualitative and quantitative information about our firm and investment capabilities.
  • Partner with various teams, including Investments, Product Strategy, Performance, Legal/Compliance, and Marketing, to gather, validate, and submit required materials (performance, AUM, commentary, personnel updates, product changes, DDQs).
  • Implement a quarterly update process to ensure database accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor platform analytics to understand engagement trends and identify opportunities to increase visibility.

Sales & Consultant Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to firm strategies, data requests, and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs/RFIs).
  • Work closely with members of our business development and relationship management teams to ensure consultant channels are prioritized and supported based on pipeline and strategic focus.
  • Track consultant ratings, research meetings, and competitive intelligence to support sales initiatives.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting on consultant coverage, platform activity, and distribution trends.

Data Integrity & Process Improvement
  • Ensure high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and regulatory alignment across all external platforms.
  • Drive continuous improvements in consultant database processes, templates, workflows, and automation opportunities.
  • Maintain internal documentation and version control for all submitted materials.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Data teams to enhance data feeds or integrations where applicable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Liaise with internal BBH teams (Performance, Marketing, and Compliance) and external teams (eVestment Omni) to coordinate timely information for database submissions.
  • Support product positioning efforts by ensuring strategy narratives and competitive differentiators are accurately reflected across platforms.
  • Assist with consultant-related preparation for RFPs, finals presentations, or strategy communications as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 3-7+ years of experience in institutional asset management, consultant relations, sales support, product management, or performance/data roles.
  • Strong understanding of institutional investors, investment strategies (public and/or private markets), and the consultant ecosystem.
  • High proficiency in managing large data sets with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with institutional databases (eVestment, Preqin, etc.) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to collaborate across teams and seniority levels.

Salary Range
NY: $90,000 - $120,000 base salary + target annual bonus
