Vomela in Springfield, VA is seeking an experienced Cutter Operator to support our thriving commercial print operation. Job Specifics:

Location: Onsite Springfield, VA

Wage: $22-26/hr DOE

What you'll do:

  • Set up and operate industrial cutter equipment (36"-59" programmable cutters).
  • Read, understand, and execute job tickets with precise size specifications.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of cut materials across various substrates.
  • Troubleshoot cutter equipment and identify production issues proactively.
  • Maintain workflow efficiency to meet production deadlines.
  • Work independently while managing multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
  • Support general bindery and finishing operations as needed.

Requirements

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of handson experience operating programmable cutters (Polar or similar).
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to inspect materials for accuracy and quality.
  • Computer literate, with the ability to follow digital job tickets and workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet production demands.
  • Knowledge of printing processes and various print substrates.
