Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Prepress Manager to lead our prepress department in a fast-paced commercial printing environment. This role is responsible for managing prepress operations, ensuring files are press-ready, maintaining color accuracy, improving workflow efficiency, and leading a team dedicated to delivering high-quality print products on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the prepress team while managing daily workflow and priorities.
  • Oversee file preflight, imposition, proofing, RIP processing, and Computer-to-Plate (CTP) plate production.
  • Ensure accurate color management and maintain print quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Scheduling, Pressroom, and Bindery to ensure smooth job flow.
  • Troubleshoot file and production issues to minimize downtime.
  • Implement workflow improvements that increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Maintain prepress equipment, software, and standard operating procedures.
