Summary

At 500, Production Artists play a critical role in bringing creative ideas to life by transforming concepts and designs into polished, technically accurate deliverables. This position supports a wide range of work across print, packaging, digital, presentation, and motion-related projects, ensuring all assets meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and brand integrity. Success in this role requires advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, along with exceptional attention to detail and strong production expertise. Experience with Adobe After Effects is highly preferred.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare and finalize print, packaging, digital, presentation, and production-ready assets for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Implement layout, content, and production revisions based on internal and client feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, account, and project teams to ensure deliverables are visually compelling and technically accurate.
  • Maintain consistency with brand standards, production specifications, and quality expectations across all assigned projects.
  • Review and refine typography, including kerning, tracking, leading, spacing, and overall readability.
  • Perform thorough quality assurance checks on fonts, colors, logos, imagery, separations, and file specifications.
  • Evaluate, retouch, and optimize imagery as needed for production requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prepare review proofs and production files using large-format Epson and laser printers.
  • Organize, archive, and distribute final project files according to established processes and standards.
Leadership Responsibilities
  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
What You'll Need
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of production art, graphic design, or related experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Strong working knowledge of macOS and current design, layout, and production software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a creative agency environment.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, animation workflows, or video production support.
  • Familiarity with print production processes, packaging production, and prepress standards.
Physical & Travel Requirements
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting and movement of production materials and printed proofs.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% annually, as needed, for client meetings, industry events, training, or other business-related activities.
