Title: Account Executive - Premium Seating/Business Dev.

Employee Status: Regular Full Time

Work From Home Option: Hybrid - 2 Days/Week (40% Remote)

Job Overview:

NYRA is seeking an Account Executive, Business Development, to join our Premium Seating team. This role will support the growth of NYRAโ€™s premium hospitality portfolio by driving prospecting efforts, generating new business opportunities, and assisting in the execution of the sales process.
Working closely with the Manager, Premium Sales & Hospitality, this individual will play a critical role in building and maintaining a strong pipeline, coordinating client outreach, and helping bring premium hospitality deals to a close. The position will also support client service and on-site execution across key racing events at Belmont Park and Saratoga Race Course, including Luxury Suites, Memberships, and other premium offerings.
This is a revenue-driving role ideal for a motivated sales professional looking to grow within premium sales and business development, with exposure to high-value deals and strategic partnerships.

Essential Functions:

Support new business development efforts by prospecting, qualifying leads, and generating sales opportunities for premium hospitality products
โ€ข Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through outbound outreach, networking, and research
โ€ข Assist in the sales process, including coordinating meetings, preparing proposals, and supporting deal execution
โ€ข Partner with the Manager to help move prospects through the sales funnel and close business
โ€ข Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems, including pipeline tracking, reporting, and forecasting support
โ€ข Collaborate with Marketing and Digital teams to support lead generation campaigns and outreach initiatives
โ€ข Assist in the creation of customized sales materials and presentations for prospective clients
โ€ข Support client communication and relationship management throughout the sales cycle and post-sale experience
โ€ข Work cross-functionally with Food & Beverage, Operations, and other internal teams to help ensure seamless execution of premium hospitality experiences on event days
โ€ข Provide on-site support during major racing events to help deliver a best-in-class guest experience
โ€ข Conduct market research and provide insights on industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities
โ€ข Represent NYRA at networking events, trade shows, and community functions to help generate leads and build brand awareness

Qualifications:

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Sports Management, Hospitality, or related field
โ€ข 1โ€“3 years of experience in sales, hospitality, or business development (premium or sports experience a plus)

Summary of Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

This role is primarily sedentary and performed in an office or office-like environment with no special physical demands required. The position involves extended periods of sitting with intermittent standing and walking, as well as occasional bending, reaching, and other routine movements typical of a professional workplace.
The role requires regular hand manipulation, including daily typing and repetitive hand movements while working on a computer. Occasional light lifting (generally up to 10 lbs., and infrequently up to 30 lbs.) may be required.
