Job description

The Medical Receptionist serves as the face of the practice and the first person a patient comes in contact with. As such, the Medial Receptionist serves as a key player in ensuring a smooth flow of operations throughout the practice and guaranteeing that the patient experience meets our standards of CARE: Compassion, Agility, Respect, and Excellence. The Medical Receptionist is exceptionally skilled at maintaining a calm, friendly and professional demeanor while juggling various competing tasks at once by utilizing a high level of time management, prioritization of tasks, communication and customer service skills. The Medical Receptionist works effectively and efficiently in a high pressure, fast-paced environment, all while keeping a smile on their face. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greeting patients upon arrival.
  • Assisting patients with required paperwork.
  • Answering phone calls.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Verifying medical insurances.
  • Creating referrals.
  • Responding to patient inquiries.

Schedule: 
  • Monday - Thursday: 1:00 PM-9:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
