ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively identify, prospect, and engage new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, and other business development activities.
  • Generate and maintain a robust sales pipeline through consistent outbound prospecting and lead generation efforts.
  • Uncover customer pain points, operational challenges, and business objectives through consultative discovery conversations.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to prospect needs and market conditions.
  • Represent CemSites at industry events, conferences, trade shows, seminars, and networking opportunities to generate leads and build brand awareness.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of CemSites solutions, competitive differentiators, customer success stories, and industry trends.
  • Clearly articulate the value of CemSites software and demonstrate how our solutions improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
  • Evaluate prospective customer operations and recommend solutions that address business challenges and create measurable value.
  • Partner with prospects throughout the sales cycle, from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Assist in responding to RFIs, RFPs, and other prospect inquiries by providing functional and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with Implementation, Account Management, and Product teams to ensure successful handoff and customer onboarding.
  • Maintain and enhance product demonstration environments to support effective sales presentations.
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline generation, and revenue goals.
  • Perform other sales and business development activities as required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Self-motivated hunter mentality with a passion for prospecting and developing new business opportunities.
  • Comfortable making high volumes of outbound cold calls and conducting proactive outreach.
  • Driven by achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented sales environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • STRONGLY prefer candidates with death care experience and software sales.
  • Spanish speaking a plus!
  • Minimum of 2 yearsโ€™ experience in an equivalent role.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and working towards targets.
  • Able to make effective presentations or demonstrations in time-constrained situations.
  • Able to prioritize the work in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments, and take action wherever appropriate.
  • Strong consultative selling and sales aptitude.
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
