The Assembly Technician will be part of a world class team. This person will be self-motivated and will understand the value of a strong work ethic, teamwork, and integrity in the workplace. Our success begins with our employees.
Management Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions
โ€ข Prepare or build up boat parts, sub-systems and components
โ€ข Perform checks and inspections to ensure quality
โ€ข Operate various power tools, hoists, and production equipment
โ€ข Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
โ€ข Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, and reach overhead
โ€ข Must be able to perform strong pinch and grip
โ€ข Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds
โ€ข Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours a day
โ€ข Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
โ€ข High School degree or equivalent
โ€ข Ability to communicate well with others
โ€ข Ability to read and understand routings, work orders, manifests, and production reports
โ€ข Ability to take instructions and work with little supervision
โ€ข Ability to operate overhead crane
โ€ข Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
โ€ข Must be a team player with focus on customer service and quality
โ€ข Must have solid work attendance and be reliable
