Job Overview

The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of Brentford FC's fan engagement and experience strategy, ensuring supportersremainat the heart of decision-making across theclub. They will be responsible for overseeing supporter consultation, driving fan growth initiatives, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, whilecontinuously strengtheningsupporter relationships and enhancing the overall fan experience across every touchpoint.

This role will also be instrumental in embedding supporter voice into day-to-day club, ensuring it informs key decisions at all levels. In addition, the postholder will representBrentford FC with key football stakeholders, including the Premier League andtheIndependent Football Regulator, helping to shape and influence the broader supporter engagement landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on the development and delivery of theclub's fan engagement and experience strategic priorities, providing regular reporting on supporter sentiment, emergingthemesand potential risks.

  • Overseefan engagementand experience budgets, KPIs and performance frameworks.

  • Workcross functionally, includingbut not limited to themarketing, commercialand communicationsteamsto define and overseethe club'sfanbase growth strategic priorities, including digital engagement, international and youthengagement initiatives.

  • Lead the planning and delivery of theclub'sapproach to meeting thePremier League Fan EngagementStandard(FES) and Independent Football Regulator (IFR) obligations.

  • Oversee the development of a robust supporter consultation framework andevidencepack, including the Fan Engagement Plan, Fan Advisory Board (FAB) and fan working groups.

  • Build trusted and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, supportergroupsand governing bodies.

  • Lead on the use of fan insight, industry best practiceand supporter feedback across theclub to influence business decisions, deliver a seamless and high-quality supporter experienceand drive continuous improvement.

  • Oversee consultationand the management ofprocessesforhigh-risk or sensitive supporter matters.

  • Leadthe club's work to deliver excellentfan engagement,end-to-end fanexperienceandsupport for all fans, working to continually improveloyalty, inclusion,advocacyand long-term connection with the club.

  • Lead, manage and develop the fan engagement and experience team, ensuring a high-performing and collaborative culture.

  • Represent Brentford FC externally with the Premier League, IFR and other key football industry stakeholders.

  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure supporter engagement priorities are aligned with widerclubobjectivesand values.

  • Ensure that any concerns youobserve, or are raised with you in your role, are shared with the Safeguarding Team throughappropriate channels.

Knowledge/Experience

  • Significant experiencein fan engagement, supporter relations, customerexperienceandstakeholder management.

  • Strong understanding of football supporter culture and the wider football industry.

  • Experience of leading strategic projects and delivering measurable outcomes.

  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and consultation processes.
