Looking for a great job to supplement your income and stay active and in shape? Join the passionate team at Cavalier Distributing as a Part-Time Order Picker! This is a perfect opportunity for hardworking, high-energy individuals.
The Active, Part-Time Gig
  • Stay Active: This role keeps you moving! While picking orders in our beverage warehouse, you will regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and safely, frequently, and independently move and handle products generally weighing up to 55 pounds.
  • Perfect for Supplementing Income: Work just a few evenings per week-starting at 2 shifts (with opportunity to work up to 4 shifts eventually). Shifts are typically Monday through Thursday, starting at 6:30 p.m. and usually ending around 11:00 p.m..
  • Excellent Compensation: Start at $16/hr! You can earn raises of $1/hr at 90 days and again at one year, based on good attendance and productivity.
  • Great Work-Life Balance: We rarely work weekends! The only occasional exception is when the Monday shift switches to Sunday to accommodate holiday schedules.

What You'll Do
As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for selecting the correct specialty beverage products (including Craft/Import Beer, Wine, Spirits, and Non-alcoholic beverages) from warehouse shelves or the keg cooler, and staging them for delivery.
  • Utilize computerized WMS (Warehouse Management System) and RF scanners.
  • Stack, wrap, and label pallets before staging for loading.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the picking process.
  • Assist with the cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Operate a pallet jack and two-wheeler.
