Job Summary:

Lakin Tire East, a Liberty Tire Recycling company, is currently seeking a Class A Driver to run Drop and Hooks for our facility in West Haven, CT. We service depots located in Albany, NY, Lakewood, NJ, and Cherry Hill, NJ. This position is for the second shift, working Monday through Friday.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily inspections of equipment per DOT regulations
  • Able to work in different weather conditions.
  • Attend Transportation Safety Meetings.

Skills and Abilities:

  • CDL Class A License required with a minimum of 6 months of experience
  • Must maintain a clean driving record that aligns with DOT standards.
  • DOT physical and drug test required

Education and Experience:

  • 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent military experience (preferred)

 

Compensation:

  • $70,000. - $80,000 annually, paid weekly. Over time, after 40 hours.
