DIET TECHNICIAN - FULL TIME - DAY SHIFT, (Crosstrain with Diet Aide)
Position Summary:
Assembles and serves meals. Cleans and sanitizes utensils and equipment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Sets up, organizes, cleans, and maintains work area
2. Assembles, serves, and delivers meals; sets up items for special functions and fills requisitions.
3. Performs clean-up duties after meals and special functions; picks up patient trays.
4. Inspects trays, food carts, and items for special functions, for accuracy
5. Portions food according to established standards
6. Prepares side dishes, sort-order items, nourishments, cold plates, and beverages.
7. Maintains patient/dietary records and reports
8. Cleans and sanitizes utensils and equipment
