Transform Data into Workforce Strategy

Nova Southeastern University is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven professional to join our Human Resources team as a HRIS Analyst III. In this role, you'll serve as a key strategic partner, transforming workforce data into meaningful insights that support decision-making across one of Florida's largest private universities.

What You'll Do

As our HRIS Analyst III resource, you will:

  • Develop and maintain advanced HR dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
  • Analyze workforce trends, including turnover, retention, recruiting effectiveness, staffing, onboarding, diversity metrics, and employee lifecycle data.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to HR and university leadership.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives and executive-level reporting.
  • Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Design interactive dashboards that make data accessible and meaningful.
  • Partner with HR, HRIS, IT, and operational leaders to identify reporting needs and business opportunities.
  • Ensure data integrity through audits, reconciliations, validation, and quality assurance activities.
  • Explore emerging technologies, AI-enabled reporting tools, and predictive analytics solutions to enhance workforce insights.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in HRIS, workforce analytics, reporting, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms.
  • Experience writing complex queries and working with relational databases.
  • Experience with enterprise HR systems such as Banner, Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education or other large, complex organizations.
  • SQL, data modeling, and ETL experience.
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics and workforce planning methodologies.
  • Experience with AI-enabled reporting tools and automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.
